How it works

How renting a track bike works

Three steps: you tell us the circuit and the day, you find the bike ready in the paddock, you hand it back at the end. Transport, tyres, fuel and equipment are on us.

Renting a track bike from us means turning up at the circuit with your kit bag and finding everything set up. No trailer, no van, nobody to know in the garages: the bike is already on its stands with the tyre warmers on when you walk into the paddock.

Tell us circuit and date

Pick a day from the calendar: within a few hours we confirm availability for your class and the pick-up time in the paddock. Minimum notice is 24 hours.

  • Email confirmation with your garage number
  • Settled by bank transfer on confirmation
In the paddock

Take the bike already warm

You find it on the stands with the tyre warmers on, tyres new or with a single session on them, a full tank and levers set to your hand. The briefing takes ten minutes.

  • Tyres fitted and warmed
  • Base setup can be revised between sessions
  • Stands and tyre warmers stay in the garage all day
End of the day

Hand it back, that is all

We check the bike over with you in front of the garage and close there: if there is no damage you get the deposit back in your hand before you leave.

  • Excess and parts price list signed before you go out
  • We bring the transport and the stands

What the price includes

  • The bike prepared for the track, with race bodywork
  • Tyres fitted and warmed
  • Fuel for the whole day
  • Transport to the circuit and back
  • Stands, tyre warmers and garage equipment

What you bring

  • One-piece leathers, full-face helmet, gloves and boots
  • A back protector, where the circuit asks for one
  • Your own transponder if you have one: we fit it for you
  • ID and an A licence to sign the contract

What is not included

  • The track day entry, which you pay to the organiser
  • Paddock space, unless you take our gazebo
  • Damage, if you go down: you pay only if there is any, and never more than the agreed figure — €1,200 on a 600, €2,000 on a 1000, €400 with the excess reduction

No experience required, an A licence is

We do not ask for a minimum number of track days already done: the class is your call. If it is your first time out we put you on a 600, which forgives more and teaches you to carry speed through a corner, and between sessions we sort pressures and levers with you. If you already have your own references, we try them on top of the base setup.

Is track day entry included?

No: you pay the entry to the track day organiser, because it changes from circuit to circuit. We tell you what it costs before you book, and we can book it for you at no mark-up.

The bikes are a few years old — does that matter?

It does, and in your favour. On track the lap time comes from the rider, not from the year on the logbook: a well prepared 600 has more performance than you will use in a full day, and no electronics riding for you — what you do with the throttle and the brakes is all yours, which is the fastest way to learn to do it well. These are bikes built for the track and looked after like race bikes: race bodywork, servicing counted in track hours rather than kilometres. And there is an advantage you can count in money: parts for a bike of those years cost half as much, so the excess and the damage list are lower than at a rental running the latest model. You pay less, and you risk less if you go down.

How and when do I pay?

The whole amount is settled on confirmation, by bank transfer: we send you the details as soon as we have spoken and put the bike and the date aside. Nothing is charged from the form and we never ask for your card. The deposit is a separate thing, and you leave that in the paddock on the day.

What if I have to cancel?

Tell us at least 24 hours before the day and you get everything back. Inside 24 hours we keep 30 %: by then the bike is prepared and the garage is taken.

If I crash, what do I pay?

The excess is €1,200 on the 600 and €2,000 on the 1000, written into the contract you sign in the paddock along with the parts list. You leave it there in cash or by cheque and take it back at the end of the day, once we have checked the bike over together. The bodywork is our own track bodywork: a slide with no frame damage almost always stays within the excess. If you would rather risk less, the excess reduction brings it down to €400: add it in the form, €75 a day on a 600 and €100 on a 1000, per rider.

The bill is made on parts, not by eye. And it never goes past the excess: the expensive part is on us. Theft and a written-off bike are a separate case, and the contract says how far you go.

Part 600 1000
Full bodywork set €400 €600
Single side panel €90 €120
Screen and fairing nose €110 €140
Tail unit €100 €130
Clip-on €70 €95
Brake or clutch lever €45 €65
Complete rearset €130 €180
Gear lever €60 €80
Exhaust can €280 €450
Radiator €250 €380
Fork leg €280 €400
Wheel €380 €550
Engine casing €180 €260
Frame or swingarm Assessed Assessed

Indicative prices, part and fitting included. The total stops at the excess: €1,200 on a 600, €2,000 on a 1000, €400 with the excess reduction. That covers repairable damage: for theft, fire and a written-off bike the limit is the value of the bike, written into the contract.

Do I need my own tyres or a special licence?

Tyres are included, fitted and warmed. For the track a category A licence is enough, and the class is your call: we ask for no minimum number of track days. One-piece suit, helmet, gloves and boots are yours to bring.

Can I bring my own transponder and setup?

Yes to both. We fit the transponder in the morning, and if you have setup references from your own bike we try them between sessions.
